Our Welcome Prayer

O God, make the doors of this church wide enough to receive all who need human love , fellowship and a Father's care; and narrow enough to shut out all envy, malice, pride and hate.  Make its threshold smooth enough to be no stumbling block to little children, to weak or straying feet; but rugged and strong enough to turn back the tempter's power.  O Lord, make the portals of this, Your house, the gateway to Your Eternal Kingdom.  Amen.
