our vision
We desire to train and equip our church’s members and partners to go and make disciples of all nations.
We look forward in faithful anticipation to Christ’s return when people from every nation, tribe, people and language stand before Jesus in worship (Rev. 7:9).
Our Partners
gLOBAL missionaries
Garwood Church supports four international missionaries, including one through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship to Eurasia, one through Wycliffe Bible Translators to Indonesia, and a medical missionary in Jordan.
the unreached
In 2021 and beyond, we are prayerfully selecting an unreached people group on whom to focus in sharing the gospel. We will partner with a local church-planting organization to bring the gospel to this people group here in the NJ and NYC metro area and partner with church-planting partners to that people group abroad.

The church also supports two local gospel-driven organizations: America’s Keswick Colony of Mercy (https://addictionrecovery.org/) and Gateway Pregnancy Center (https://gateway.org/).
Orphan Care
In 2021, we are beginning a partnership with Miriam’s Heart (https://www.miriamsheart.org/) to reach children and families with children in NJ, and Union County specifically, who are in crisis and in need of care or support.
